2: Collection and storage of personal data from a visit to the website and the art and purpose of the data’s use.

When you visit our website, the browser used on your terminal automatically sends information to our website’s server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called Logfile. The following information is collected without any action on your part and stored until an automated deletion:

  • The IP address of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of the access
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file
  • The website used for the access (Referrer-URL)
  • The browser used and possibly your computer’s operating system and the identity of your access-provider
  • The above-mentioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:

  • To ensure the comfortable use of our website
  • To evaluate system security and stability, as well as for other administrative purposes

The legal basis for the processing of data is provided by Art.6 Para.1 P.1 lit.f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest in gathering data lies in the above-listed purposes. Under no circumstances do we gather data to infer conclusions about you.

Additionally, when you visit our website, we use Cookies and analysis services. More specific information about this can be found in Clauses 4 and 5 of this Data Protection Statement.

3: Passing on of data

Your personal data would not be passed on to a third party, for any reason other than those listed below.

We only pass your information on to a third party if:

  • You have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para.1 P.1 lit.a) DSGVO, disclosure is required pursuant to Art.6 Para.1 P.1 lit.a) DSGVO, for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overarching interest in your data not being disclosed, there is a legal requirement pursuant to Art.6 Para.1 P.1 lit.a) DSGVO for information to be provided or if it is legally permissible and required under Art.6 Para.1 P.1 lit.a) DSGVO for the settling of a contractual relationship with you.

4.Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files automatically created by your browser and saved on your specific terminal (laptop, tablet, smartphone etc…) when you visit our site. Cookies do not damage your terminal, contain no viruses, trojans or any other detrimental software.

Information is stored in the cookie, resulting in a connection with the specific terminal device used. This does not mean, however, that we have immediate knowledge of your identity.

On the one hand, the application of cookies makes your use of our services more user-friendly. For example, we apply so-called session-cookies, to recognise that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted when you leave our website.

Furthermore, to optimize user-friendliness, we also apply temporary cookies, which are saved on your terminal device for a specified period of time. If you revisit our website, to take advantage of our services, it is automatically recognized that you have already accessed our site and which inputs and settings you have made, so that you do not need to re-enter them.

On the other hand, we also apply cookies to calculate the use of our website statistically and for the purpose of optimizing our services to you (see clause 5). These cookies allow us to automatically recognize, with a new visit to our website, that you have already visited the site. These cookies are also automatically deleted after a defined period.

The data that is processed by cookies is necessary for the purposes mentioned for safeguarding our legitimate interests as well as those of third parties pursuant to Art.6 Para.1 P.1 lit.f) DSGVO.

The complete deactivation of cookies can, however, lead to you being unable to use all functions provided by our website.

5.Analyse-Tools / Tracking-Tools – Google Analytics

The tracking measures listed below are used by us and implemented on the basis of Art.6 Para.1 P.1 lit.f) DSGVO. Through using these tracking measures, we wish to sensure a needs-based design and the on-going optimization of our website. On the other hand, we also apply cookies to calculate the use of our website statistically and for the purpose of optimizing our services to you (see clause 5). These interests serve as justifications with regard to the aforementioned provisions.

The respective data processing purposes and data categories are derived from the appropriate tracking tools.

For the purpose of the needs-oriented design and the on-going optimisation of our website, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see Clause 4) are used. The information generated via the cookies about your use of this website, such as

are transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. This information may also be passed on to third parties if required under law or if third parties process this data. Under no circumstances is your IP address merged with other Google data. IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignation is not possible (IP masking).

6. Rights of Affected Parties

You have the following rights:

    • In accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO, to request information about your personal data we have processed. In particular you may request information regarding the purpose of the processing, the category of personal data, the type of recipients to whom your information has been or will be provided, the planned storage time, the existence of a right to require rectification, deletion, limits on processing or opposition thereto, the existence of a complaints process, the origin of your data, if this has not been collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision making, including profiling and, where relevant, information on its details;
    • in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO, to request the correction of errors in your personal data or the completion of your personal data stored with us;
    • in accordance with Art. 17 DSGVO, to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, as long as, in the execution of this request, freedom of opinion and information, the fulfillment of a legal requirement, public interest or the need to assert, exercise or defend legal claims are not hampered;
    • in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO to request the restricted processing of your personal data, in so far as you dispute the rectitude of the data, the processing of the data is unlawful, you oppose the deletion and we no longer need the data, but you require it for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or if, in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO, you have lodged your opposition to the processing of said data;
    • in accordance with Art. 20 DSGVO, to receive the personal data you have provided us in a structured, standardised, device-readable format or to request the data’s delivery to a responsible third party;
    • in accordance with Art. 7 Para.3 DSGVO to revoke previously permitted consents at any time. As a result, in the future we are no longer able to process this permission-related data; and
    • in accordance with Art 77. DSGVO to submit a complaint to a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the relevant supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or work or via our practice.

7.Right to Object

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (1) (f) DSGVO, you have the right, pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO, to object to the said processing, in so far as there are grounds for doing so, based on your particular circumstances or if the objection relates to the receipt of direct advertising. In the latter instance, you have a general right to object, which is implemented by us without the necessity to provide reasons.

8.Data Security

Within a website visit, we utilise the commonly used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with the highest encryption levels supported by your browser. In general, this is a 256-bit encryption. Should your browser not support a 256-bit encryption, we resort to 128-Bit v3 technology. You can identify whether an individual page on our website is transmitted in encrypted form through the representation of a key or lock icon in your browser’s lower status bar.

We also use appropriate technological and organisational security measures to protect your data from accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or complete lost, destruction and against the unauthorised access of third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
