Curriculum Vitae

Born in 1970 in the Heide-city of Soltau, I spent my childhood there and moved to Göttingen after my university entrance examination to study medicine. It is here that I discovered my love for paediatrics. Whilst studying, I wrote my experimental PhD in the area of paediatric haemotology. In 1999 I began my training as a paediatrician at the Children’s Hospital on the Bult in Hanover and, in the course of my training, moved to the Children’s Clinic in Wolfsburg. At this clinic, I worked in all areas of paediatric medicine. Whilst  attached to the innovation ward for paediatric psychosomatic illness, I began my training as a psychotherapist for children and adolescents.

In 2004 I accompanied my husband to the USA for a year, where I worked as an intern in a paediatric neurology clinic. At the conclusion of this time abroad, I began my work in Wolfsburg.

After the birth of our sons in 2006 and 2008, we moved to Barsinghausen and I began a roll as a part time employed doctor at a children’s medical practice.

This out-patient work brings together both my interests and talents, in that I am able to observe both healthy and un-well children “grow”. I see children develop and see how their character develops. At the same time, I can accompany parents through the difficulties of rearing their children.

I look forward to an open working relationship with you at the Wunstorf Lange Street Children’s Practice.
